Murrysville is located in Westmoreland County about 20 miles east
of Pittsburgh.

The "Murrysville Tree Sign" is a living sign that is
visable on a hillside just south of Rt. 22. The sign was planted
in 1933 by the Boy Scouts. The sign is nearly 800 feet wide and
150 feet tall. |

Franklin Regional School District serves the communities of Export, Delmont
and Murrysville. With over 3,700 students and nearly 400 staff members, the
district operates three Elementary schools, a Middle School, and a Senior High School.
