About Roberta's Experience as a Small Business Owner
Roberta
Biros started her business, Biros Merchandising, in June
of 1999.
Biros
Merchandising is a small, privately-owned company that manages
internet sites that specialize in the retail sale of custom
patches, custom embroidered products, motorcycle patches,
motorcycle decals, and other biker related products. Biros
Merchandising designs and manage their websites, and they
manufacture the custom patches and other custom embroidered
products that they offer on their sites. Biros Merchandising
processes and ships all of the orders received from our
various websites.
Roberta’s
involvement in the business ranges from the daily processing
of on-line orders and payments to the development and maintenance
of the multiple websites that are associated with Biros
Merchandising. Roberta is responsible for all fiscal management
capabilities including the management and reconciliation
of business checking, savings, and investment accounts,
as well as the management of merchant accounts used to collect
credit card payments via on-line secure servers.
Roberta
is also involved in all technical aspects of the business
including hardware and software procurement and maintenance,
web site development and maintenance, the planning and implementation
of new product lines and on-line services, and the automation
and streamlining of all business practices and procedures.
