Restore, and Reunite.
Reunite
. . .

Reunite
Pennsylvania
The
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and it's legislature
are currently divided and paralyzed by partisan politics.
Politicians have made a habit of standing for their
Party rather than representing the people that they
were elected to serve. Public service has been replaced
with self-service, and elected officials cater to
Party Caucuses and political fat cats. The only way
to end the behavior is to remove from office those
individuals that are guilty of it. |
How
do we begin to reunite? |

Career
Politicians are the Problem
Career
politicians have been seen switching parties to make
sure that they can "get re-elected" and
others are playing political games (i.e. running for
office as BOTH Republican and Democrat) in attempts
to pad the numbers for their re-election attempts.
Old-school political games may have worked a decade
ago, but voters are recognizing the problem and they
are motivated to stop it. |

Concerned
Citizens are Cutting Through the Red Tape
People
in our community are getting involved in politics
for the first time in their lives because they are
concerned. Sick and tired of "politics as usual",
citizens are less concerned about the two Party system
and are more concerned about good government. Many
voters now consider themselves to be "independent"
voters regardless of their party affiliation. They
are ignoring party rhetoric and concentrating on the
issues that really matter. |

Reuniting
has Already Begun
Pennsylvanians
are attempting to reunite politically with their friends,
family, co-workers and neighbors. We are trying to
find common ground where we all agree rather than
arguing about those divisive topics that push us further
apart. It is only through cooperation that we can
move forward for positive change. |
Specifics
regarding Roberta's platform are also outlined in her Platform
for Good Government.
