Roberta
was raised in Murrysville, Westmoreland County, PA [MORE].
Roberta's parents enjoyed 52 years of marriage while raising
their five children. Roberta's mother still resides in Murrysville.
Her father passed away in 2005.
Roberta
is the youngest of five children from a blue collar household
[MORE]. Roberta's oldest
brother, Jim, lives in Winchester, VA, and her brother,
Chuck, lives in Fayette County, PA. Roberta's sister, Cindy,
resides in Westmoreland County, PA. Her oldest sister, Debbie,
passed away in 2003 due to complications from Multiple Sclerosis.
Roberta
and her husband, David, met in 1987 and married in 1990.
They moved to Mercer County in January of 2006. For years
they visited the Mercer County area for annual vacations,
but now they get to enjoy everything that Mercer County
has to offer all year long . . . and they love it!
Roberta
and David are animal lovers. They have four dogs (Max, Moe,
Buddy, and Lucy), which were all rescued from animal shelters
in Westmoreland County and Mercer County [MORE].
During
the spring, summer, and fall, Roberta enjoys outdoor activities
like biking, hiking, and basketball. During the winter months,
Roberta is an avid follower of Steelers Football and University
of Pittsburgh Football and Basketball, and local High School
Basketball. For relaxation, Roberta plays the guitar, reads,
and watches movies.
